Sai Sanjay Kottakota

I'm a researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, focusing on transfer learning and computer vision applications. My current work explores the intersection of embedded systems and deep learning, particularly in developing efficient models for real-world deployments. I previously conducted research at VIT-AP University, working with Dr. Hari Kishan Kondaveeti on developing intelligent systems for wildlife monitoring. My work focuses on implementing transfer learning techniques using architectures like MobileNetV2 for resource-constrained environments.

I'm particularly interested in making AI more accessible and practical for real-world applications. One of my notable projects involved creating an automated bird species identification system that combines hardware sensors with deep learning models. This work demonstrated how transfer learning can be effectively used to achieve high accuracy (95%) while maintaining computational efficiency suitable for edge devices.
